In this group, we use gentle stretching and strengthening movements, affirmations, and guided activities to focus on physical presence, awareness, and acceptance, with the goal of combatting dissociation and dysmorphia. This is not yoga—we do not focus on posture or breathwork. It is also completely normal if you’ve experienced trauma and can’t feel your body. With practice, you can feel safe and in touch with your body again.
