This is a 3-hour Empowerment Self-Defense class designed specifically for high school girls.

Through activities, role play, the presentation of real-world scenarios (such as dating violence, parties, communication both in person and online, and street harassment), and the practice of verbal and physical techniques, we’ll teach young women how to prevent and interrupt violence. We’ll practice listening to our intuition, assessing our options, asserting boundaries, and using de-escalation and defensive strategies. Our goal is for all participants to leave the class feeling more aware of themselves and their surroundings and more confident in their ability to speak and act assertively in any situation.
