Empowerment Self-Defense is grounded in 5 safety action principles: Think, Yell, Run, Fight, Tell.
In this 3-hour seminar, you'll learn how to set clear and effective boundaries, practice assertiveness with peers and strangers, move through life with better awareness of your surroundings, and respond to violence or threats of violence by deescalating, escaping, or fighting. We'll practice a series of strikes and escapes from grabs and chokes, both standing and on the ground. Wear comfortable clothes!
