Give the gift of empowerment to someone who needs it most.

Many who are in a domestic violence situation don’t have control of or access to their own money. Those who’ve escaped an abusive situation often have to leave everything behind and start over. Become a part of their community of support by sponsoring their participation in an Empowerment through Self-Defense series or therapeutic program. Funds collected are used to cover registration fees for those who are unable to pay and who are referred to our programs by our neighbor organizations, including Women Helping Women, the ION Center for Violence Prevention, Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, the county family court systems, and others.

Sponsorship Levels

• Plum: Covers the cost of a weekly one-hour class ($15)

• Navy: Covers the cost of 5 weekly one-hour classes ($70)

• Silver: Covers the cost of our 5-Week Empowerment through Self-Defense series ($150)
